I want to explain my old blog and this Always Forward category on my website.
I created my first WordPress website in 2013. Later that year, I changed my domain name and moved my posts to herzamanileri.com. ‘Her Zaman İleri’ means ‘Always Forward’ in Turkish. I published about 200 posts on this website in the following 3 years then I closed it. You can check the Web Archive link if you’d like.
I decided to translate some of my old posts and add them to this blog as a reminder then I created this Always Forward category. Not every post was related to my current interest, and of course, I wouldn’t say I liked too many of them 😀 So I picked a handful of them and added them to Always Forward and other categories if they are related.
I added a warning in each post about the post’s age, and they may not reflect my current opinion or some of the information on these posts can be outdated.
Why Is This Website Still Valuable To Me?
- This was my first website
- I started to learn Web, WordPress and SEO with this website first (with lots of reading, of course)
- I connected too many good people with this website and online webmaster forums such as (r10.net, and wmaraci.com)
- I am a nostalgic person a little bit, maybe 🙂
- This website brought me my first freelance SEO consultant gig in March 2014, then I continued on the same path till this day
